Greetings! The Rise & Remember celebration is free and DOES NOT require registration. This event page is for VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION. Do you want to volunteer for the one year anniversary events happening at George Floyd Square? Register through this form and indicate the areas of interest you have. All volunteers will be required to go through day-of training. Our goal is to recruit plenty of volunteers so that people can take 2-4 hour shifts and enjoy the rest of the day as community. When you register, please select the areas of interest for you. Our volunteer coordination is graciously provided by the leadership of MN Teen Activists. Day Overview: 9 AM - Set Up Begins (Designated volunteers & Community Members) 11 AM - Volunteer Training 12 PM - Quilt Dedication Pre-Ceremony 1 PM - Opening Ceremony, followed by local artist presentations and open mic 6 PM - Concert 8 PM - Candle Lighting 9 PM - Tear Down
