Boat Fire Critically Injures 1 In Baltimore County: Officials

ESSEX, MD — One person was hospitalized following a boat fire in Essex Wednesday night, according to authorities. The fire occurred at the Sue Island Marina in the 800 block of Baltimore Yacht Club Road. Crews were dispatched after 8 p.m. to the marina, where a boat was ablaze. The fire was extinguished by 8:40 p.m., according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. Officials said the boat fire victim, who was taken to the hospital, suffered critical injuries.
