Press release from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce : Carey Gaddis 05/18/2021 The Board of Education of Carroll County will announce in public session that they will meet in closed session at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021, as permitted by the Maryland Open Meetings Act, Section 3-305 (b) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and Section 3-103 of the General Provision Articles of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to consult with legal counsel and discuss matters related to negotiations.   The Board of Education of Carroll County will hold a special meeting on Monday, May 24, 2021, for an agenda item that was tabled from the May 12th Board meeting – the adoption of the FY22 Operating, Food Service, Debt Service, and Capital Improvement Budgets. The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Board of Education offices, located at 125 North Court Street in Westminster. There will be no in-person public comment since that was already provided for this agenda item at the May 12th Board meeting.
