Unique position for a talented mechanic with a high degree of mechanical aptitude.
Duties include repairing and maintenance on mainly GM 3500 vans and PTO carpet cleaning units.
This position will also allow for you to work on employees cars and vehicles from your OWN outside customers.
You will be paid hourly or flat rate for our vehicles. The structure we use will be a mutually agreed upon structure.
For other work that you generate (or even our employees vehicles) we will split 70/30 You keep 70% and the 30% will go toward insurance, rent and other expenses. Income potential is easily into the $100k per year range for the right person.
This is a new position for us. For 27 years, the owner has done 90% of all repairs and maintenance. This includes transmission and engine replacement. We have a 10k lift and most of the tools needed.
Work hours and days are flexible. Days off are generous. You choose your days off. When no work is needed on our vehicles, you are welcome to take time off. However, occasionally there are issues on our vans that need immediate attention, which may include coming in after hours to address a problem.
To qualify, you need to be self motivated, reliable and honest. We have very little turnover in our company. We are family owned and have a "no drama" fun atmosphere to work in. Typically we attract and retain the best people while the bad attitude boys get flushed out.
