CLASS: Competition Tech Jazz Class 2 DAYS: Thursday starting 6/2, 4 pm-5 pm (ages 8-13), Friday starting 6/3, 5:15 pm-6:15 pm (teen/adult) LOCATION: Ariel dance studio, 2385 S. Winchester, Blvd, Campbell, CA FEE: $25 registration fee plus $68 for 4-classes TO REGISTER: Please call WEBSITE: www.arieldanceproductions.com This class is designed to help dancers develop flexibility and strength through deep stretching and body conditioning. Strong muscles are vital for protecting the body and of course improving dance skills! This class will help dancers develop skills in all technical aspects of jazz dance. You’ll learn how to execute more difficult turns, leaps, and other progressions including double pirouettes, chainés, axle turns, grand jeté leaps, (front and 2nd), piqué turns, fouettés, a la seconde turns, C jumps, scissor leaps, and more complicated footwork and combinations. Movement is age-appropriate while continuing to build a repertoire of steps and progressions that will be used for a routine at competitions.
