After Bush's 2007 financial crisis, unemployment was at 9.5% when Obama took office in January, 2009. Under Obama, it went steadily down by about 250,000 jobs per month, to 4.5% by the time he left office in January, 2017. That rate continued under Trump, getting down to 3.5%. Then, even before COVID, it stagnated. Naturally, the economic recovery was all Trump's doing. Why? Because you're stupid. Really stupid. Really, REALLY stupid. Really,, REALLY fucking stupid. By the way, the COVID virus has been around for many years; this strain is called COVID19 because it emerged in 2019. That gave scientists a good head start in developing a vaccine. ANY president, would have removed the bureaucratic obstacles normally in place to ensure a slow, methodical development. Maybe if Trump hadn't, to use his words, "downplayed" the situation, calling it a "hoax", a few hundred thousand Americans might still be alive. Do you like sour cream with your horseshit?
