From City of Sioux Falls: May 19, 2021 Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021, 60th Street North will be closed to traffic between North Minnesota Avenue and North Fourth Avenue. Traffic will be detoured utilizing Minnesota Avenue, Benson Road, and Fourth Avenue. City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department and D&I railroad will be working on a joint project to replace the railroad crossing on 60th Street North just east of Minnesota Avenue. The work is anticipated to be completed and open to traffic by Thursday, May 27, 2021 with favorable weather conditions. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes. This press release was produced by City of Sioux Falls.
