Press release from Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce: May 19, 2021 Please help us congratulate Murrells Inlet 2020 - our Nonprofit of the Month sponsored by South Atlantic Bank. Murrells Inlet 2020 just celebrated the opening of the updated Morse Park - a project completed in partnership with Georgetown County, South Carolina. The renovations to the park include the additions of a playground, gazebo, picnic area and walking path. Morse Park is located on the southern end of Murrells Inlet, adjacent to the Jetty Walk. It's also home to the Lost at Sea Memorial. Murrells Inlet 2020 is a nonprofit dedicated to making Murrells Inlet a great place to live, work and visit through a combination of environmental awareness, infrastructure improvements, economic development and community involvement.
