Construction Superintendent Brings our extensive planning and preparation to fruition by being on site overseeing, orchestrating, and completing each of our construction projects at the same exceptional level. Top 5 duties: 1. Provides direction and assistance to CPM as needed during the budget process: Provides knowledge of materials and best practices to CPM to create a solid and real-world budget. 2. Prepares and tracks schedule for project: Uses the budget and personal knowledge of the project to create a thoughtful and real schedule for the project. Constantly revisits the schedule and proactively updates the CPM of any changes to the schedule. 3. Provides feedback on personnel and equipment needs to Field Operations Specialist on a daily basis: Checks in daily with the FOS with updates from the site, specifically in regards to needs for personnel and machinery. 4. Oversees and orchestrates day-to-day construction site activities: Works with Foreman and Team Members to divide tasks to keep the project on-schedule and on-budget. 5. Conveys knowledge of site to MPM and MTL during transition from construction to maintenance: Is a valuable resource to Maintenance Team as the project is transitioned to maintenance. Prepares and delivers as-built drawings to the CPM at the end of the project. Is available to answer questions on the project from the Maintenance Team. Experience/Skills: 3 years of professional landscape experience. A landscape, or similarly related, degree a plus. Experience supervising, training, coaching and developing team members. Strong ability to read plan sets and specifications. Able to show working knowledge of tools/equipment/practices etc. Strong written and oral communication skills. English and Spanish speaking a plus. Good Physical condition and endurance; able to lift heavy Objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Valid WA driver license. Reporting and Communication Structure Reports to: Construction Senior Superintendent. Direct Reports: No one, but has direct and valuable input on Construction Foremen and Team Members to CSS. Is primary source of external communication to: Clients, project team members, suppliers and subcontractors. Estimated time in office/time in field: 100% in field.
