Kings Of Leon Slated To Visit Tinley Park On Upcoming Tour

TINLEY PARK, IL — Rock band Kings of Leon announced a new tour in support of their latest album, When You See Yourself, slated to kick off this summer. One stop on the band's list of places to rock out? Tinley Park's Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. The tour will begin on Aug. 3, and run through Oct. 3, 2021. The band is making a stop to here in suburban Chicago on Aug. 20. Tickets for the tour are marked to go on sale to the public on Friday at 10:00 a.m. here in Tinley. Tickets can be viewed here. The band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999, and is composed of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill with their cousin Matthew Followill, according to Wikipedia. Kings of Leon initially became successful in the United Kingdom with nine Top 40 singles, two BRIT Awards in 2008, and all three of the band's albums at the time peaked in the top five of the UK Albums Chart, Wikipedia states. When You See Yourself, the group's eighth studio album, was released on March 5. Supporting the rock band on tour this summer is Cold War Kids, an American indie rock band from Long Beach, California.
