Are you interested in becoming a certified Homecare Aid Caregiver for Seniors in Washington State? By registering for the Homecare Aid (HCA) training, you will participate in 5 days of training over 5 weeks that will prepare you to take the HCA state exam. Namaste Training located in Kirkland offers the in person training you need to start your Caregiver career for an essential business! All Covid-19 safety precautions are taken while in training. Our HCA curriculum is certified by DSHS for Washington State, which once you pass the state exam allows you to work in an adult family home or a home care agency. Tuition is $500.00 if paid in full prior to start of class or $550 if weekly installments. Class 1/Week 1 – Program Overview and Orientation – 4 hours Class 2/Week 2 – Dementia – 8 hours Class 3/Week 3 – Mental Health – 8 hours Class 4/Week 4 – Core Basic Skills Training #1 – 6 hours Class 5/Week 5 – Core Basic Skills Training #2 – 6 hours Class starts time Saturday Class: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (varies based on week) Class starts time Wednesday Class: 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. (varies based on week) Classes are held Wednesday, or Saturday at the Namaste Training Facility located at 12015 115th Ave. NE, Bldg. E, STE 105, Kirkland, WA 98034.Classes meet once per week for 5 weeks on Saturday OR Wednesday and the balance of the training is completed online! Scoring of tests and skills is completed at the end of the class and successful students are issued a certificate. Students are then qualified to take the Prometric’s test to become a certified Home Care Aide by the State of Washington Department of Health.
