U.S. Marshals Are Searching For NH Woman Accused Of Drug Dealing

CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public's help finding a woman indicted on a drug-dealing charge who has also been accused of a bail violation. Jessica Cory Hughes, 33, is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs around 140 lbs. She has blue eyes and brown hair. Hughes has a tattoo on her forearm as well as scars on her abdomen and hand. A warrant out of the U.S. District Court in Concord was issued for her arrest on April 9. "Hughes is being sought on a federal arrest warrant after being indicted in U.S. District Court of New Hampshire for distributing a controlled substance," Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, said. "Hughes had previously been arrested on this charge and was released on bail." Hughes, he said, "violated her bail conditions and a new warrant had been issued" against her. She has connections to the Milford area where family, friends, and associates reside. Anyone who knows where Hughes is or sees someone who looks like her, do not try to apprehend her yourself. Call your local police department of the task force at 603-225-1632. According to superior court records, Hughes pleaded guilty to three controlled drug: acts prohibited charges in January 2015 after incidents in Nashua. She was accused of drug possession again in Nashua in March 2019, but the case was nolle prossed. Three months later, she was arrested again on a charge out of Nashua but that was also nolle prossed. In July 2019, she was charged with dealing heroin and that charge was also nolle prossed in August 2020.
