NOTE: Candidates must be residents of San Joaquin or Stanislaus Counties. We are offering an opportunity for a dedicated individual who is looking to enter the field of dog training, or someone wanting to broaden their skills in this area. We are an innovative animal rescue, aiming to develop cutting edge solutions to help all animals who find their way into rescue. Qualifying candidate(s) will: Provide in-home canine training, under the guidance of one of our senior trainers Assist in marketing and promoting animal under their care Provide progress updates in a timely manner This is a paid internship. Salary negotiable. All food, equipment, training provided by organization. The successful candidate will be working with a senior male Pit x. He is wonderful around people and dogs his own size, but is reactive to small animals. The candidate must have adequate space for a large breed dog, including space for an outdoor kennel (provided), and no small animals at residence.
