The Shipping Receiving Clerk I provides support to one or more of the following functions: receiving, pack-aging, or shipping of materials at Rosemount facilities. Basic Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience: • Previous shipping, receiving experience – preferred. • Knowledge of Microsoft office required. • Able to operate forklift; training and certification will be required upon hire Job Description: Receiving Functions: • Inspect shipment for obvious damage upon receipt and documents visible damage; and notifies purchas-ing of discrepancies. • Unpacks material and separates it by item number. • Verifies material and PO requirements received, inputs receiving data into Oracle system. • Maintains accurate inventory, lot integrity, and Country of Origin. • Moves inventory to designated location. Delivers MRO and non-production material to designated re-ceiving area • Receives all other non-inventory items including large equipment requiring forklift skills or special han-dling. • Safely operates and maintains all material handling equipment. • Accurately converts different units of measure when conversion factors appear on the Receipt Traveler. Shipping Functions: • Properly ships all Rosemount products using wooden crates or cartons, supplier returns or other material releases. • Palletize orders for domestic and international consoles. • Packages to the appropriate government and domestic levels. Verifies the accurate completion of all shipment documents. • Ensures that all container markings are properly applied. • Selects and schedules freight lines for shipments in appropriate software. • Monitors and maintains packaging inventory • Safely operates all material handling equipment. • Monitors dock security Physical Requirements: • Ability to determine correct lifting method based on company’s material handling procedure. • Ability to operate the following equipment without assistance: o Battery powered Screw guns and drills o Overhead crane o Fork Lift o Hand Dolly o Air-powered staple gun o Electronic scale o 2” air-powered nail stapler o Pallet jack and/or dolly o Automatic tape dispenser o Banding Machine If interested, please contact me for applying.
