We are currently seeking motivated, results-oriented, GENERAL LABORERS/FLAGGERS to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers in the Hendersonville area in North Carolina. The successful candidates for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to: • General laborer position to work on road construction projects. • Pushes and pulls asphalt rake to level asphalt to fine grade specifications, uses a sledgehammer to drive pins, uses pick and shovel to dig, hooks up trailers, fasten attachments to equipment. • Flagger duties include but are not limited to setting up traffic control, placing barrels, and cones. • Smooths freshly poured asphalt, shovels asphalt or other materials, mixes mortar mix, bolts, nails, and aligns, and blocks up under forms, measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Individual must be dedicated to working safely at all times. • Experience preferred working road construction in high traffic areas. • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary. • Team player, positive attitude, and able to perform a variety of duties without constant supervision. • Ability to learn quickly, follow directions and be results-oriented. • Reliable transportation from and to work is a must!
