ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — If you're looking to get a coronavirus vaccine, but don't have an appointment, a walk-in mass vaccination clinic is scheduled for Wednesday in Arlington Heights. Available for those ages 18 and up, the event runs from noon-4 p.m. at the Arlington Ridge Center, 660 N Ridge Ave. The event — presented in partnership between the Arlington Heights Park District, Arlington Heights Memorial Library, the Village of Arlington Heights and Jewel-Osco — is a one-day event. In all, 500 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is a one-dose treatment, will be available. In addition, those who received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on April 28 will get their second dose between 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday at the ARC. Organizers are asking people to arrive at the same time they received their first dose. For more information on how to get a coronavirus vaccine in Illinois, visit Patch's information page. TODAY!
