Senior looking for a Unicorn. Must have Qualifications: * Over 18 years old * No drug or alcohol use on the job. Including lunch breaks * No Smoking inside, or in my vehicle * Have own transportation or can navigate the bus * Level headed, professional, polite * Understand English or familiar with Google translate * Practices personal hygiene – no strong colognes, perfumes, incense, or other odors * Able to pay attention & stay on task * Able to follow simple directions (both written and verbal) * Willing to speak up if you don't understand something and need a better explanation * Able to work unsupervised or with a team/team leader * Willing to learn, not argumentative, drama free * No wasting time on your cell phone during work * Punctual Desired qualifications: * Occasionally Lift and carry up to 40 lbs * Able to work outside during the day * Knows or willing to learn basic hand tool identification. * Familiar with the use of hand power tools or willing to learn. * Flexible schedule * Not afraid of heights, can climb and work from a step ladder * Have the stamina to keep up with an overweight Senior Citizen (me) * Has their own charged cell phone with minutes available and knows how to text * Able to work above your head (to change out light bulbs, etc.) Tasks: * Are usually only a few hours long * Will generally will occur between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday Scope of work: May involve: Holding a flash light, Getting a tool and bringing it to me, Using a hand drill, Picking up & taking out the trash, Holding a piece of wood or metal, looking for misplaced items, Organizing items, Painting, Using hand tools to cut, shape, or attach materials, Taking a cooler to an ice machine and filling it up, moving or carying things, etc. This is not a full-time position, it’s only on call when needed. If you are not available for or uncomfortable with a task (fear of heights, claustrophobic, paint fumes, etc.) just let me know beforehand and we can make adjustments.
