COBB COUNTY, GA — Three Cobb County libraries will offer free vision screenings, eye exams and glasses for youth age 5-18 next month, thanks to national nonprofit Vision To Learn. VTL's mobile clinic is coming back to Sibley, South Cobb Regional and Gritters libraries in June to provide these free services, according to a news release from the Cobb County Public Library system. Registration is required to participate, and space is limited. The dates and times — with links to register for each day — are as follows: Sibley Library, 1539 South Cobb Drive SE, MariettaJune 1 and June 2: 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Road, MabletonJune 3 and June 4: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.Gritters Library, 880 Shaw Park Road, MariettaJune 14; June 15; June 16: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.The nonprofit has provided mobile clinic visits at Cobb libraries since mid-2018, and has resulted in more than 900 eye exams in Cobb County with more than 600 children receiving free glasses, the release said.
