ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Effectively pick, pack, process, palletize, and ship customer orders using shipping software system. • Unload, sort, count, and palletize merchandise upon receipt. • Initiate inventory replenishment processes on a regular basis to ensure pick locations are maintained at full capacity. • Ability to properly handle the systemic and physical movement of product into locations using Microsoft Windows based software program, Sage 100. • Maintain inventory integrity by adhering to the proper procedures for receiving, shipping and cycle counting. • Maintain clean, organized, and clutter free work environment throughout the entire warehouse. • Ability to work in temperatures of 50 to 90 degrees. • Ability to work standing and/or walking on a cement floor for up to 8 hours per day. • Ability to lift and carry boxes of up to 70 pounds on occasion for short distances. • Assist in other departments when necessary or as business needs dictate. • Ability to read, understand and communicate English numbers, letters and words. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE *High School diploma or equivalent (GED or work experience) *Ability to read and understand English number and letters *Computer knowledge helpful *Ability to operate or learn to operate powered lift trucks.
