PMI Iowa is hiring Traveling Millwrights, who live in Iowa, to install and maintain bulk-material handling equipment in Iowa and bordering states. This role offers per diem of $100 per overnight stay when traveling, plus great base pay, and other benefits. PMI Iowa is located in Ames, IA. Apply today by replying to this job ad with your name, contact information and work history (resume is preferred) Job Duties: • Set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders, and saws, as well as non-powered hand tools • Assemble and install drag conveyors, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, etc. • Interpret basic diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures • Adhere to OSHA safety policies, procedures, and practice Job Requirements: • High school diploma/GED • 1+ year of millwright or related experience required; 2+ years of grain-related millwright experience preferred • Climb and work at heights of 200-300 feet • Ability to travel primarily Monday-Friday, but also 10 days on and 4 days off when the job requires Benefits: • Pay is $20-30/hour based on experience and proven skills • Per diem: $100 per overnight stay when traveling • Healthcare coverage • Dental and vision insurance • 401(k) with an employer match • Disability insurance • Paid vacation and holidays • Year-round employment PMI Iowa is excited to welcome new team members.
