Large farm in Bulger, Pa 15019 looking for reliable, hard worker to assist with day to day care of a variety of livestock. Candidate should be physically fit, able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 80lbs. Responsibilities will include: -Daily feeding, watering & collecting eggs from our flock of laying hens. -Weekly washing and packing of eggs. -Daily fence checks & wellness checks on a variety of animals. -Maintaining clean barns & animal pens as well as emptying manure spreader. -Assisting livestock manager with livestock handling, transporting & field rotations. -Other duties as assigned by livestock manager. -This staff member may also be crossed trained to act as a support for general property maintenance (varies seasonally, may include mowing and trimming) Requirements: -All applicants should be comfortable around livestock (including chickens, pigs, Great Pyrenees dogs, and cattle) and large machinery. -Able to stand for extended periods of time. This is a physically demanding position. -Able to lift 80lbs. -Able to work in all weather conditions, and work on a ladder as needed. -Able to pass a background check -Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend/holiday.
