Truck to take test on needed

I am an experienced CDL A driver family man. I had to let my license lapse because I had major surgery and was laid up for months. Now they tell me I need to retest to get it back so we don't lose our home. I had all endorsements :Tanker Dbls and HazMat plus TWIC since I have done all and ran a regular ( dedicated) route for many years in and out of the NJ ports from NH and had no wrecks or violations ever. If you ran any legnth of I-95 you may even be one of the many drivers I helped out over he years since I took pride in helping my fellow drivers when out on the road. I kept spare parts and five gallons of extra fuel and when wireless headphones became popular I purchased them in quantity so I could sell them to fellow truckers for much less than the truck stops were selling them for all in an attempt to further good will among fellow truckers. I held a cdl A license since the late 1970s and was a full time company driver for a variety of companies. Now as much as I hate being in this position I need a rig for the DMV road test and am happy to pay a reasonable fee. Its interesting to know my very first commercial license was obtained after I posted a similar request to this one back in the day. Back then I loved playing in the yard with my toy trucks and dreamed of one day being a trucker so I took an ad out in the local newspaper for someone to teach me how to drive a truck and a Gentleman from a local Oil company responded. That one ad changed my life and I was always grateful as I would be if someone is kind enough to respond to this request. It will be interesting to know if that same sort of good will exist in this day.. I have not made the DMV appointment yet since I'll need to confirm I have a rig to test on. Plus I'd like to refresh on the pre trip inspection of whatever rig I use. Prefer ten speed but am open to whatever is out there. Thank You in advance for helping a fellow Trucker out.
