The Supreme Court just dealt the Democrats a bitter defeat they`re going to hate ! Democrats are getting a taste of what a majority on the Supreme Court will be like. It’s not good news for the radical Far Left. And the Supreme Court just dealt the Anti-Gun Democrats a bitter defeat they are going to hate for years. The Supreme Court handed down what seemed to be an innocuous 9-0 decision upholding the rights of Americans not to have police seize their guns without a warrant. Edward Caniglia sued after Cranston, Rhode Island police officers entered his home while he was receiving mental health treatment. Police officers cited an alleged exception to the Fourth Amendment that they claimed allows them to seize firearms from motorists and allowed them to enter Caniglia’s home and seize his guns. Writing for the unanimous court Clarence Thomas rejected this argument out of hand.“The very core of the Fourth Amendment’s guarantee is the right of a person to retreat into his or her home and there be free from unreasonable governmental intrusion,” Thomas stated. Thomas added that “what is reasonable for vehicles is different from what is reasonable for homes.” What most concerned the Left was a concurring opinion by Justice Samuel Alito. Alito wrote that the principles involved in this case – police seizing guns without a warrant – applied to red flag confiscation laws where Judges order police to burst into homes and seize Americans’ firearms. In his opinion Alito essentially invited a case challenging these unconstitutional gun grabs. “Provisions of red flag laws may be challenged under the Fourth Amendment, and those cases may come before us. Our decision today does not address those issues,” Justice Alito wrote. The court has stalled for years on taking Second Amendment cases because the other conservative justices feared John Roberts would side with the Left. Now that Amy Coney Barrett sits on the Supreme Court, conservatives feel that they have five votes without Roberts feel more comfortable to proceed taking on the Left’s Anti-Gun control regime. It`s good day for legal gun owner`s !
