Looking for part-time help painting an old house. The job involves removing lose layers of paint (scraping and sanding), hand-washing away layers of dirt and soot, and priming and painting (hand painting, no spraying). This is a part-time job for approximately 4 to 6 hours a day. Must have some painting experience. Experience painting the exterior of houses with wood siding would be a plus! Must be comfortable working on scaffold. Hourly rate to be negotiated based on skills. This might work for a student or a retired person. The hours can be somewhat flexible and we don't have to work every day. Contractors need not apply. The work will be done slow-paced throughout this summer. Again, no contractors, no spray painters - I will do much of the work myself, I am just looking for help. Initial contact only by email.
