Pettit Staffing is hiring for Material Handlers on 1st and 2nd shifts at $18.00 per hour. Seeking candidates with warehouse experience along with job stability of 2-4 years+ Great temporary to hire opportunities. • Moves material through the facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, hoist, tugger and baler) as required. • Loads materials into vehicles. • Uses the computer and two-way radio to dispense and receive information on pickup location. • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. • Completes paperwork to properly document work performed. • Conducts material audits. • May provide support or direction to less experienced material handlers.
