You see if you have any sense or propriety which you don't, then you'd know there's little difference at all between the two. Fact is you don't even know what an insurrection is. LOL No law against carrying weapons during a protest as long as they're not used to threaten or harm anyone unlike your BLM and ANTIFI protests where their weapons were always used to burn, loot, destroy and kill. The DOJ and a few Congressional investigations already doing their own investigations, Pelosi's would be nothing more than political theater. Trump offered a week in advance the National Guard to protect the Capitol from any potential rioters Pelosi turned him down. According to the Department of Defense, once the protest turned more violent, D.C. Mayor Bowser requested more assistance and Secretary of Defense Miller "immediately called up 1,200 members of the D.C. National Guard." While President Donald Trump initially encouraged his supporters to march to the Capitol, he later asked the mob to "remain peaceful," nonviolent and support law enforcement in a tweet that said, "I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. So Ummm... if you feel like acting as the symbol of your Party, a Jackass, please do. We know without a doubt no insurrection happened and that only demented hateful Democrats are using the riot to attack Conservatives and Republicans. Pretty sick and F'd up to do such a thing but then you're a Democrat so it comes naturally. Ummm...if you're trying to stop a part of the election process that LEGALLY elected a new president, what is that called then? Were they taking a tour? If you're shouting for the heads of Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi as you illegally enter the capitol building, is that part of the tour? When you're part of the Oathkeepers, Proud Boys, etc. and you're marching to the capitol, carrying weapons, breeching barriers, climbing through windows, entering and sitting in offices, etc. I guess that's just part of the tour. When the president transfers control of the National Guard from the area commander to the Sec of Defense (who you control) and wait 2-3 hours to deploy them, is that part of the tour? Oh and when you stood in front of these people claiming a lie, you knew they'd be angry, getting angrier, and then you pointed them at Congress and YOUR VP, that must be part of the tour. As you get older you see things for what they really are and mean. This was an insurrection at the least. And it was started, fueled, and managed by Donald Trump. That's what I saw on my tour. They had no weapons, they had no plan other than to disrupt the Congressional proceedings. We already know the truth. No crimes are being covered up, the people involved have been arrested, charged and will face a trial. Trump is not on trial, he did not instigate the rioters. After learning days in advance of possible rioters he offered thousands of National Guard troops to protect Congress, Pelosi turned down his offer. This is much like the Russian collusion conspiracy in that the facts are already known but the Democrats just want to keep it alive as an issue. I've found no evidence half of the republican lawmakers want Pelosi to have another investigation.
