This position begins June 7, 2021 and will end by end of October. Job Description Laborer Seeking to hire a Utility Pole Inspection crew laborer, who is responsible for the day to day labor for the inspection of in-use utility poles. The position will require regional travel with extended time away from home. Lodging covered by employer. Work is outdoors in inclement work conditions. Qualifications: · Work safely at all times · Inspect utility poles · Use hand tools appropriately, such as hammer and drills · Dig, shovel, trench earth · Spray utility poles with anti-decay treatment · Have basic computer skills Physical Demands: · Walk up to 10 miles of terrain daily · Regularly lift 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds off and on · Work in back yards of dense urban areas to heavily vegetated rural areas · Work in all types of weather conditions Other: · You must have a clean valid driver’s license ·You must be willing to travel extensively for the job · You must pass a drug test and background check Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
