Utility Data Group (UDG) is a national leader in staffing and operational leadership for disaster recovery events. UDG is currently recruiting to ensure we have enough properly trained contractors to fill positions for the upcoming 2021 Hurricane Season. Immediate Opportunity for Power Utility Damage Assessors Our greatest need for contractors is for Damage Assessment Crews as this is a new area of opportunity for UDG. Online AND in-person training for this position is available. The qualified candidate will have the following: Reliable Transportation. The ability to walk and be on your feet for long periods at a time. Great attention to detail. Ability to clearly and thoroughly document field reports with legible handwriting. An overall professional attitude and appearance. Because you are the face of SEG to our clients, we ask that you have an overall neat and clean appearance, attitude, and professional speech and behavior. Orlando Area Saturday June 26th, 2021 We will be hosting two 3 hour training sessions in the Orlando area on Saturday June 26th. To apply please fill out this screening form - It is important to note that this is not full-time work. Because we only work when disasters require our participation, there is no guarantee of work. When we do deploy, it is usually from one to five weeks at a time. Hours per day for Damage Assessor Crews are a minimum of 12 and a max of 16 so there is opportunity to make good money in a short time frame. Are you a Qualified Team Leader? If you have power utility experience either as a lineman or an experienced Damage Assessor, please note it on the signup form -- we need qualified candidates to lead our 10-15 crew teams. If you meet the requirements and are asked to be a team lead the pay is based on a base rate + the number of crews you are leading. Team leads routinely make up to $85/hr.
