MANDEVILLE, LA 70448 Immediate openings, we are in need of General Laundry Production Workers to join our team....This is an entry level position. St. Tammany Linen, Inc. is a family owned and operated commercial laundry company that has been in business for more than 35 years. We are based in Mandeville, LA. Full-Time position, Monday thru Friday starting at 6:00 am to 7:30 am depending on position and generally working 8 hours per day depending on production needs. This position involves the sorting, folding, and ironing of laundry that comes in from our customers. Attention to detail and focus on quality is a very important aspect of the job. * Work is repetitive and production oriented, so fast pace is essential. * Manual dexterity is necessary. * Must work well with co-workers. * Visual acuity is necessary to detect imperfections in linens and garments and machine discrepancies. * Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, turn, bend and reach for and lift items constantly during a 8 hour shift. * Must be flexible in work environment, moving from one task to another. * Must be reliable in reporting on time to work each day.
