Summary: Will partake in on-the-job training to assist commercial fence crew with fence installation projects. Our client is looking for a hard working individual who is motivated and excited to work with a company that provides growth opportunity. Potential responsibilities of position are listed below. Responsibilities: Measure the length of each section that requires fencing and determine the requisite height of each fence in collaboration with clients. Trim sections of the fencing to ensure that they are appropriate in size. Prepare the site by digging holes and trenches in which the fencing will be positioned. Join, raise, and secure segments of the fence in place. Check for gaps and vulnerabilities in the fencing and correct these, if needed. Help to determine the types and functions of fencing required for project. Inspect property plans to determine the parameters of each site when these are unclear. Conduct site inspections to ascertain the amount of materials needed to complete each installation. Issue warranties for completed projects. Keep management aware of any delays or discrepancies. Work in outdoor / indoor conditions. Building loads for deliveries. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard / warehouse. Load and unload lumber and building supplies.
