MUST HAVE RESIDENTIAL TREE SERVICE EXPERIENCE TO APPLY MUST HAVE CLIMBING EXPERIENCE We are looking for a second climber for a removal crew (does 80% removals 20% pruning) and a second climber for a pruning crew (80% pruning 20% small removals). Must be highly skill in all types of pruning including fine pruning. Second Climbers can expect to make between $20-$30 per hour. Pay is up to $39 per hour for high quality crew leaders. ISA Certifications are required when eligible or 6 month after hire. The are a long list of financial perks beyond the hourly wage. But Since it is not always about the money here are just a few of the many non-financial perks. 1. You only do tree work: no picking up or cutting wood, no stump grinding, and limited hedge work. No saw maintenance, no invoice collection, and no dumping chips. Just do what you do best, get it done and go home. 2. All of our ground persons are in an informal arborist training program so they are very motivated to learn and to keep you happy so that you may teach them something. We actively recruit so we make sure we get top quality people. 3. Crew of 3; with a qualified 2nd climber so climbing duties are spread out between 2 people when needed or you have 2 people to clean up after you when needed. We also try to meet requests for a 4th person when requested by the crew leader. 4. 4 Day Work Week for 12 months of the year. 5. Room to grow: As we grow so do you: We currently have crew leaders who are also learning and working part time doing sales, writing arborist reports, preparing permits ect. 6. Crews are chosen not assigned. Why not spend your days working with a crew of people you like and who want to work together. 7. Gear: You request it, we buy it. There are limits of course but for the most part you are allowed to request and maintain your ideal climbing set up. 8. We are always looking to do and be better. There is not a week that goes by where we don't make some sort of improvement to the way our crews work gets done. Most of the time these changes are started by ideas or complaints of our team.
