The Waterford Harbor Farmers Market is each Sunday, May through October at the confluence of the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers, and the Gateway to the Erie Canal. Each week local farmers, producers, and artisans line the promenade along the water in the oldest continuously incorporated village in the United States.
The market features live music, specialty coffee, great views and vendors selling local produce, meat, eggs, honey, jam, syrup, canned beer, soap, lotion, candles, art, crafts, books, and more.
While you are in Waterford you may also take advantage of the walking trails on Peebles Island, kayak with Upstate Kayak Rentals, or check out the Waterford Flight, a set of locks with the highest elevation gain relative to its length for any canal lock system in the world.
Boat rides are available the first Sunday of each month (reservations required)
