This product is far more cost-effective than comparable products sold at big box and Mom & Pop pet stores and can save you over a third on your bedding/litter costs, easily. My homemade shreds are made from 100% recyclable, clean, non-toxic, corrugated cardboard, which has been cut into small strips, resulting in a unique product that is lightweight, highly absorbent, and soft, not to mention sustainable! They are perfect for small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs, and I will even run the shreds through a special de-dusting process for you, at no extra cost, to help your pets breathe easier. Because of their unique qualities, these shreds are great for multiple purposes, including, but not limited to: 1) ANIMAL/PET BEDDING, which is soft, safe, and much lower in dust than traditional bedding (such as wood shavings), for animals both large and small, from horses to rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, ferrets, and more! 2) KITTY LITTER, as non-toxic, low-dust replacement for clay-based litters, or for when you run out of your usual litter and need something lightweight and absorbent in a hurry! 3) WORM FARMING or VERMICOMPOSTING, as both worm bedding and a food source for your worms, which love not only the cardboard itself but also the starchy glue that holds the cardboard together! 4) COMPOSTING, as an organic, carbon-rich "brown" material to offset and/or balance out the nitrogen or moisture content in your compost pile! 5) GARDENING, as a biodegradable MULCH for your flowers, fruits, and vegetables to maintain soil moisture, insulate plant roots, and block weeds! 6) ARTS & CRAFTS, for filling gift baskets, making paper mache, and much more! 7) PACKING MATERIAL, for keeping your fragile belongings safe during transport, in an inexpensive and extremely cost-effective way! 8) TINDER, for starting fires in your fireplace, outdoor fire pit, or camp fire! Shreds are available for pickup in westside Green Bay (contact me here on Craigslist for pickup location) or personal delivery, within the Green Bay area (including Green Bay, Allouez, Ashwaubenon, Bellevue, De Pere, Howard, and Suamico), for a flat $5 fee. Unfortunately, I am unable to delivery outside of the Green Bay area at this time. That said, I will work to accommodate you in any way I can to make the pickup or delivery process as quick and easy as possible. ALSO NOTE: While the vast majority of cardboard used to produce the shreds is plain and brown in color, you may find a small amount of color in your shreds. Having said that, no glossy or shiny, chemical-laden cardboard is ever used in the production of the shreds, and all shreds are produced with matte cardboard, for yours and your pets safety.
