OR Direct link to application: Alpenrose Dairy, a 100 year old iconic Portland brand, is looking for a Case Dock Worker for our 3rd shift, which operates from 5:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. This position will be working on our pre-production team and will be a temporary role that has the potential of being permanent. Join us as we propel the brand into the next 100 years! This role is responsible for unloading milk cases from delivery trucks and trailers, occasionally loading trailers with empty cases for delivery as well. Daily responsibilities include: - Unloading milk cases from trucks and trailers - Sorting, stacking and washing cases - Periodically, loading trailers with cases for delivery - Washing case washer, cleaning drains, screens and filters Qualifications to be successful: - Must be able to lift and push/pull 50 lbs consistently and work on your feet 8 to 10 hours a day. - Safety minded. - Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines, have great organizational skills. - Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to read orders and schedules and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals - Work cooperatively with management, colleagues, partners, and most importantly customers and potential customers - Must be able to maintain a fast, physical pace.
