Looking for a bassist who wants to get together to play just for fun for now. Primarily classic rock, rock, and some country...whatever is fun and interesting to play. I'm in my mid-50's and have been playing guitar for years. I’m looking for someone who is not a beginner bassist, but you don’t have to be a pro either...the idea is to practice, get better, and have fun. Gender doesn't matter, and if you play other instruments...even better! I have foot drum percussion and loopers handle any rhythm and beats. The ideal person would want to get together to have fun, jam a bit, and keep progressing musically. I’m looking for someone in the Flower Mound or the surrounding area so that it's close and convenient for everyone. Evenings or weekends would be ideal practice times for me...maybe an hour or two max at a time once a week is what I’m thinking...it really depends on both of our schedules. Looking for someone serious about music, but not too serious about themselves. If you like to laugh, have fun, and avoid drama...you’re probably a good fit. If you’re into drugs, have personal or legal problems, or if your life is just a mess...please just pass on this until you get things worked out.
