Duties include but are not limited to: 1. General shop help with any/all shop related tasks including the occasional running of machinery (with supervision). 2. Cleaning/organizing of machine shop and support facilities. 3. Packaging of finished products. 4. Perform post machining processing of parts that may include sanding, deburring, polishing, washing and other manual and machine aided processes. The successful applicant will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail, and have a "team player" mentality with which they can both work well with others as well as alone, staying on task. They will be expected to exhibit both the desire AND ability to pull their own weight and see projects through to completion without constant supervision. Our shop culture is one where the owner gets their hands dirty in the shop daily and also occasionally with pulling weeds or painting/cleaning/shoveling snow, etc, not just production work. We are not interested in hiring anyone unwilling to do the same in support of the shop goals.
