Job description Eastbrook Properties is looking to add to our team. We are a commercial business park located in the Northland adjacent to Briarcliff. We are looking for a full time Lead Maintenance Technician. Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: Property Manager Summary: To ensure that the property’s exterior and interior are maintained in an attractive manner, and that fixtures, appliances, and other equipment are maintained safely. * Please note this is a very labor intense, fast paced job and requires a hard working self starter.* Job Responsibilities: Trouble shoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing or HVAC issues. Be proactive on preventative maintenance for our buildings and equipment Lead the maintenance team with projects and duties with punctuality Perform regularly scheduled inspections of all common areas, buildings, equipment, and fixtures Communicate daily with the Property Manager, and perform tasks as requested Promptly notify Property Manager of safety concerns or deficiencies in property appearance Complete work orders within 24 hours Sustain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials Organize maintenance shop and storage areas Walk the property grounds daily to ensure safety and cleanliness Ensure preventative repairs are done on a regular basis Interact with tenants in a professional and courteous manner Other duties as assigned by Property Manager Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Must have valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance 2+ years of Commercial Maintenance experience Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry General knowledge of various maintenance functions included and not limited to plumbing, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry skills, electrical, HVAC, painting, caulking, snow removal, and lawn care Very labor intense job, must be able to maintain a fast pace Self Starter and take direction well Ability to work as a team player Ability to multi-task Punctuality and reliability is a must Demonstrate good hygiene Demonstrate excellent customer service skills Demonstrate ambition for continuous professional development Always uphold the highest level of ethical behavior and integrity Take initiative to anticipate problems and take actions to prevent Working Conditions: Responsible for inspecting property grounds, including building structure, landscaping, and signage which may require the ability to climb stairs, scaffolds, ladders and maneuver walkways Frequent lifting, pushing, carrying or pulling of 50 pounds Frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, and reaching.
