Looking for a part time job where you can "give back" and get paid for your efforts? Do you like working with seniors? Are you able to work independently and create structure for someone who needs activities and mental stimulation? Are you a people person who likes to grab on to life? Then Living Made Easier wants to talk to you! We are looking for a female companion for an older lady who is very active physically. She is living in a retirement community in the Gold Coast and remains engaged and active but does have some memory loss so it is difficult for her to plan and organize her outings. She is friendly, upbeat, and has a variety of interests. She needs you to guide her through her day and plan/attend activities and programs in the downtown area. This includes exercise, walking, shopping, errands, computer work, meals and accompany to theatres, museums, exhibits, shows, etc. All expenses paid by the client. You are NOT a caregiver, you are the "fun" person helping someone live life to the fullest. Good English is mandatory. A professional, pleasant appearance is important since you interact with the very affluent. Compensation is $23/hour as a 1099 contractor. Eighteen hours (or more if you choose) a week. The schedule is Sat/Sun roughly 9am to 6pm but that can be flexible. Background check and fingerprinting is mandatory and will be reimbursed.
