Tri-state Home Improvements Inc. We are looking for Installation Technician Assistants to join our Tri-State team! You will help assist and install Refrigerators, Evaporative Coolers, Room A/C's, Smart Thermostats, Relamping, and some weatherization services for the public utility companies. This is a full time position. We work an alternative work schedule that consists of 4 ten hours days. We offer 401k, medical (including vision), & dental. If possible please bring a print out of DMV record at time of interview. Responsibilities: • Punctuality & attendance is imperative to this position • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures • Inspect and perform routine preventative maintenance • Install window or wall evaporative coolers or AC's • Run a copper water line from the nearest outside hose bib Qualifications: • Must be able to work in the USA • Be able to follow instructions • Customer service orientated • Must be able to pass a background check according to federal law • Must be able to pass a drug test screening according to federal law • Punctuality & attendance is imperative to this position • Be able to use basic electronic devices such as iPad and/or cell phone • Speak fluent English; Spanish recommended but not required • Previous construction experience & or plumbing recommended but not required • Strong problem solving and critical thinking • Must have a valid and clean Driver’s License • Must be able to sit in a vehicle from job site to job site • Able to read and write • Able to work as a team • Able to climb a ladder • Able to work in extreme weather • Able to work in tight spaces • Able to carry up to 75lbs • Able to bend and kneel for a duration of time • Be able to commute to and from work • Must be alert and awake for the duration of the shift
