Our Company is looking for an experienced, reliable Maintenance Technician to maintain a 100+-unit apartment community in Chino, CA. Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills; can work well under pressure, and one who can work in a customer service environment. Qualified candidates must have 2 years direct experience in multifamily apartment maintenance or 3 or more years in related fields. Prior maintenance experience in multifamily housing required. Must be able to speak English and communicate with vendors, residents, etc. Valid CA Driver's License required for this position. Qualified candidate should possess: • Strong technical skills (plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs) • Energetic Attitude • Organization skills • Exceptional Customer Service aptitude • Ability to present and communicate with owners, residents, clients, etc. • HS diploma or GED required. As our Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for efficiently performing all general apartment and property maintenance, including apartment turn-over, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks, appliances, pools and spas, roofs, and life safety equipment. Must be available for weekend work and emergency services (on call). Also responsible for scheduling all work required by outside vendors, and assist in painting and all make ready aspects, including prepping units for move-in. This position requires passing a background check, reference check. Notable Job requirements: 1. Ensure that physical condition of the property is maintained to company operating and safety standards. Ensure that service request and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner. Maintenance Technician will spend 90 to 95 percent of their time performing hands–on repair/maintenance work. The remaining time will be spent supervising the work of the other employees and outside contractors, and performing general management functions as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. 2. Position requires ability to transport or move up to 60 pounds variable distances; the mobility and flexibility to use ladders and to access and work in confined spaces or at heights in excess of eight to nine feet. Ability to personally perform general maintenance. COVID-19 considerations: We require all staff members to wear a mask and we have a daily sanitizing log for sanitizing around the property.
