Job Description Test and repair malfunctioning production equipment/machinery and notifies appropriate personnel with little to no assistance.Provide support, direction and development to other team members under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor.Install equipment, machines, or programs to meet specifications with no assistance.Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine what maintenance is needed.Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and precision instruments with minor to no assistance.Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools without needing guidance.Use welding skills/equipment (Mig,TIG, Stick, Torch) to fabricate and repair chutes, conveyors, hoppers, etc.Demonstrate high level of mechanical aptitude and must possess the knowledge of timing of cams and gears, how to set backlash, replace bushings.Understand hydraulic principles, pneumatic principles etc.Maintain current knowledge and actively addresses safety and environmental issues.Other duties may include janitorial, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, security, carpentry.Additional responsibilities as assigned.  Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree from a technical college preferred5+ years maintenance experience required; apprenticeship or Journeyman experience preferredAbility to complete basic mathematical calculationsForklift truck experience requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and safety documentationsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to complete routine PM documentsUnderstanding of and compliance with safety rules and regulationsAbility to navigate CMMS softwareStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and prioritization skillsInternal drive and interest in personal development  Additional Information We are an equal employment opportunity employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any characteristic protected by law. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
