Habitera Farms is looking to add a full time employee to our team. We are an Organic Himalayan Mulberry Orchard on 84 acres located in Brentwood. We need help with the daily operations and general up keep. The pay starts at $20/hr with chances to grow as our operations do. 40 hrs a week guaranteed all year round. These operations include but are not limited too. -report to the Farm Manager on overall field health -row inspections via atv -tractor work (spraying, discing, scraping and addition of soil amendments) -tree work ( planting, watering, pruning, tying young trees to the stakes as they grow and harvesting) - setting daily gopher traps and squirrel traps - irrigation repairs and installation -maintenance of vehicles and equipment (welding, oil changes, filter changes, greasing) Previous Farming/Landscape and Tractor work is preferred but not mandatory. Bi-lingual is preferred as this is a largely Spanish speaking industry. If you are a solid candidate lacking experience you will not be overlooked. We want good people equally as much as experienced people. Normal hours of operation are from 630am -3pm occasional additional hours.
