Seasonal position from March-December employment type: full-time Established in 2014 full service landscape design / build / maintenance firm. We service distinctive, high-end residential and commercial properties properties in Poughkeepsie, and Kingston. Our team of dedicated professionals, work in concert to create outstanding landscaped environments for our clients to enjoy. This is a full-time and part time seasonal position and all applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and background check. Must be available between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Some Saturday hours may be required depending on the week and weather conditions. We are seeking a talented Crew Leader and workers to join our award-winning landscape installation team. Crew Leader responsibilities based on specific division hired are: * 3-5 years' experience in the landscape maintenance field * Supervise and lead 2-3 crew members * Communicate effectively with clients, supervisor and all team members * Insure quality level and completion of work within scheduled time * Must have knowledge working with basic landscape maintenance equipment * Dependable and always on time/early at work * Available to work 40+ hours per week during the busy season * Physically able to work at a fast pace for 8+ hours per day in the elements * Able to follow instructions, attention to detail, work efficiently, and with a team * Participate and lead weekly training sessions * Attend courses and seminars to increase job knowledge and skills * Own daily work schedules and accurately complete paperwork * Communicate openly with clients, supervisor and all team members * Insure quality level and completion of work within scheduled time * Coordinate purchases and deliveries of hard materials to job sites * MUST be able to use web-based time keeping system based on daily work orders * Operate and maintain assigned vehicles, power equipment and hand tools * Ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently is a plus * Annual color installation, Layout and install planting beds per plans and drawings, and Bed maintenance * Ornamental pruning of trees and shrubs, Perennial care This position will report to our Kingston facility.
