Javascript basis and fundamentals - Summer Camp (grades 5th -7th) Kids will learn basics of syntax based coding while still using block based coding as reference. While it is not necessary to have prior experience with learning to code, having a Scratch coding background is helpful. This is a great transitory course between moving from block based coding apps to real-world coding. Kids will use a program that will allow them to use reference of coding with blocks, while learning to relate them with writing code and syntaxes. This is an engaging activity and uses logical reasoning as well as mathematical concepts to design animations and games.
