Description
This is a full-time landscaping & arborist position requiring experience and knowledge in those fields.
The job site has a lot of steep terrain and cliffs. It includes everything from weeding to cutting trees on steep slopes to remove invasive species. Must not be afraid of heights.
You must have your own arborist equipment.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Pulling weeds and invasive species.
Clearing hillsides & farm of trees/brush with a chainsaw.
Planting trees/plants.
Misc labor.
You will be expected to:
Be communicative, professional, reliable, and punctual.
Be in good physical shape and able to carry heavy loads.
Be able to hike difficult & steep terrain.
Follow instructions.
Work rain or shine.
Accurately identify plant species.
Work unattended.
Work 35-40 hours per week.
You are expected to have:
Your own phone.
A bank account.
Your own reliable transportation.
You own arborist equipment, maintained in good working condition.
Beginning pays starts at $20/hr for easy labor (weeding, etc.), and increases substantially for hard labor and arborist work. Repelling experience is a plus, but not necessary. Quality work is expected and will be rewarded. Position includes 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
This is not a cash position.
