If you are looking for a deeper, & more intuitive perspective on reading tarot, bring a journal & open mind as we explore beyond the arcanas Panthers Gate is hosting a divination series every friday in Boulder at 6pm. This class will explore different tools and perspectives of divination, including and not limited to tarot, scrying, runes, astrology and more. This week we will be diving into one of the more popular forms of divination, Tarot. Tarot was first created in the mid 1700s in Italy by reading ones fortune through the normal four-suited pack and adding a fifth suit of 21 specially illustrated cards called trionfi (“triumphs”) and an odd card called il matto (“the fool”). Today, tarot is widely used all around the world and artists are creating their own decks and visuals to bring about the energy and mysticism of fortune telling. In this class we will be guiding students through tools and perspectives of how to explore working with tarot cards. We will move beyond the traditional definition of each card and dive deep into understanding how we as an individual intuit information and how to bring that about through reading. Please bring your own deck or feel free to get one at the shop. There will be extra decks on hand if you are completely new to Tarot and would like to practice with our decks available.
