Grab the kiddos, a blanket and a snack, or grab some food from a nearby restaurant, and join us for some low-key suppertime art in the park!
Be your own Dr. Frankenstein! We’ll be disassembling and re-hacking stuffed animals and adding our own fabric and notions to create two headed, muli-armed one-of-a-kind chimera creatures. You’ll learn some basic sewing skills and get to choose creatures from our thrift store zoo.
Thursday nights in June and August we'll be making a host of unconventional and totally cool interactive objects together, from sewing Frankenzombie stuffed animals to drawing the world's largest comic book- we'll be working in all types of mediums with art making for every age. Workshops are free with all supplies included, but you will need to pre-register. We will be practicing social distance protocols with lots of hand washing. Kids, teens and their adult friends are all encouraged to participate with individual and group projects. Pets welcome, and snacks and drinks will be available if you don't want to bring your own!
