As a Forman/Driver, you are the face of the company. You have an over-achieving attitude and personable with our customers. It is very important that you are able to connect to our customers, in ways of eye contact, small-talk, and more. In this role, you will have to have 5-star customer service skills!! The ability to pack and move customer’s furniture carefully. Moves can also sometimes include stairways and long walkways. This is a general labor position and items moved can sometimes lead up to 100lbs or more. A work day can vary in length (10 or more hour shift is not uncommon). Training is provided. Job Responsibilities: • Greet customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises • Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings • Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing; comfortably interface with the customer • Complete truck inspections and moving equipment inventory before departing • Responsible for accurately completing paperwork and checklists • Check in regularly throughout the day with direct supervisor for additional assignments and troubleshooting guidance • Prevent careless and costly mistakes, including damage, injury, unhappy clients, lost equipment, etc. • Be able to make logistical decisions • Help to train new hires about the day-to-day operations and core values. Job Requirements: • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be 18 years or older • Excellent customer service skills • Professional attitude and LANGUAGE is a must • Strong logic and communication skills • Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. • Good hand-eye coordination • You're flexible to work weekends as needed Job Type: Contract Drivers Pay: starting at 20/hr -25/hr *depending on experience COVID-19 considerations: We will provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizers.
