Our Breakfast Series Recognizes God's sovereignty and Informs, Challenges and Encourages Christian Leaders in Northern Nevada. Registration includes a Full Buffet Breakfast served to each individual personally by the hotel for the best in food choice and safety. Please be aware that due to Covid-19 precautions, tables will be arranged to facilitate social distancing and face masks are required to enter the hotel. Our speaker is Bret L. Simmons, Ph.D. - an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Management at the University of Nevada, Reno. He teaches undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA courses in Organizational Behavior and Leading Change. He studies employee attitudes, work stress, and performance. He serves on the Renown Community Advisory Committee and is the curator of TEDxReno. He has been a born-again Christian since June of 1985. Title: How to get serious about your integrity "Integrity matters now more than ever, but it’s hard to get serious about your integrity if you don’t understand what it means to have integrity. We will talk about what integrity is, what it is not, and why it matters. I’ve been teaching the concept of integrity in my classes for over a decade but realized a few years ago I wasn’t serious enough about my own integrity. I’ll share with you some practical things I’ve started doing to close the integrity gaps in my own life. If you want to get serious about integrity, you will leave this presentation with a few simple (but not easy) steps you can begin to take today.
