Intermediate courses including san mai forge welding techniques. BLADESMITHING 102 – Forged Tomahawk This 6-hour intermediate courses will build upon basic skills by introducing forge welding with a San mai technique with 5160 and mild steel. Punching and drifting techniques may also be explored to create tomahawks designed to chop and throw. Handles will be provided and all participants should leave with a ready-to-use functional tool. Some forging experience is recommended. Ages 16 and over.
